Shooting Stars & Coupons
You can learn all about our Shooting Stars and Coupons, including any event/limited time variations, in their respective sections below! While these share a similar template, they will all have different colours and other distinguishing features to help differentiate them from the other at a glance.SHOOTING STARS
These are Starlight's equivalent of power ups or boosts that other TCGs have! They will give you additional benefits that can be used in the TCG and can be obtained through Star Shop purchases, events, freebies, and more. Shooting Stars are not permanent as each has a pre-determined amount of uses before it loses its star power and fades away, in which they will then expire and cannot be used anymore (unless a new Shooting Star is obtained in its place).Players can own as many Shooting Stars as they want at any given time, either of the same type or different! However, you can only use 1 Shooting Star (of the same type) at a time. If you finish up all the uses in one Shooting Star and want to use another one of the same type immediately after (ie. chaining uses), then that is allowed as long as you have enough Shooting Stars to cover it all!
For example: if you have 2 Donation Boost Shooting Stars, you must first completely use up one before using another. It is possible to use 2 of these Shooting Stars in one post if you were to donate 4 extra decks at once, though!Below is the full list of currently available Shooting Stars that can be obtained, as well as other relevant information for each boost.

 Donation Boost (1 use) 1 use = 2 deck donations | Each Shooting Star allows 2 extra decks to be claimed and donated if you've maxed out your monthly limit! These are additional to the regular limit allowed, and can be claimed/donated at the same time or separately - but they DO have to be used all in the same month for ease of tracking. All regular donation rules & limits still apply to these donations/claims so if you maxed out artist limits with your regular donations, this boost does NOT allow you to exceed that limit by using it. | Post the Shooting Star when claiming your extra donations AND when you submit them in your thread. Proof of obtaining the Shooting Star is required! If claiming these separately, please link to your previous claim's post when making your second claim. This Shooting Star is usually considered expired once BOTH donations have been submitted for rewards, however if you only donate 1 of the 2 decks you claim during a month (and forget or can't donate the 2nd in time), this boost will still expire! |
 Drama Subscription (2 uses) 1 use = 1 week of access | Each Shooting Star grants access to the Drama set of games in the Interactive section, valid for 2 weeks total! All games in the set can be played once per use, with the set being refreshed weekly on update days along with the other game sets being updated that week. Uses (Weeks) do not need to be consecutive! | Display the Shooting Star on your trade post and keep track of how many uses you have already redeemed, and how many you have left. You can access the games at any point during the week that you redeem one use of this boost! If you obtain this boost and want to use it mid-week, just make sure to finish the use and play all the games from this set before it updates again. |
 Mastery Bonus (5 uses) 1 use = 1 deck mastery | Each Shooting Star doubles the base reward for 5 deck masteries total! Can be used on all deck types no matter the number of cards in the deck, except for Limited Edition/Event Decks. Uses do not need to be consecutive so you can choose which masteries to use this boost on. If you accidentally use this boost on a deck you didn't want doubled rewards for, that use is still considered redeemed and cannot be refunded, nor will the extra rewards you received be removed from your logs & site count! | Display the Shooting Star on your trade post and keep track of how many uses you have already redeemed, and how many you have left. Then, fill out the Mastery Bonus form for the deck(s) you want to use this boost on! This form will save a copy of the rewards to your site log and include a distinction that it was a doubled reward from the boost, so you don't need to add/edit anything else in your personal logs; you can just copy + paste what is given to you on-site! |
 Premium Variety Subscription (2 uses) 1 use = 1 week of doubled rewards | Each Shooting Star doubles the rewards earned from playing the Variety set of games in the Interactive section, valid for 2 weeks total! Uses (Weeks) do not need to be consecutive. If this set's games already have doubled rewards because of a granted wish, using this boost will double that (already doubled reward) as well so it will be like you played each game 4 times total and received a reward each time! | Display the Shooting Star on your trade post and keep track of how many uses you have already redeemed, and how many you have left. Then, you can refresh the reward/prize page to obtain your second/doubled reward! It will save to your site logs with the same log name as your first play so make sure to add a note in your personal logs that this second reward is from this boost for clarification purposes. |
 Release Upgrade (2 uses) 1 use = 1 update | Each Shooting Star allows 2 extra pulls from an update of choice, valid for 2 updates total! These are additional to the regular limit allowed, and can be claimed along with your regular pulls or separately - but they DO have to be used all in the same update for ease of tracking. Uses (Updates you use this boost on) do not need to be consecutive! All regular pull restrictions & limits apply so if the update says only 2 cards per deck is allowed and you already pulled 2 from a deck, you cannot use this Shooting Star to take 2 more cards from that same deck. | Display the Shooting Star on your trade post and keep track of how many uses you have already redeemed, and how many you have left. These pulls cannot be claimed through the regular release pulls form linked to the update but you can fill out a Choice Card Exchange form with your additional pulls if you want a copy saved to your site logs! Then, In your personal trade post logs for the update pulls, make note that you're using this Shooting Star in whatever way/format you'd like to! You can also edit your existing comment on the update with your additional pulls. |
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If you don't play all the games in any of the affected sets (the Drama set for "Drama Subscription" and the Variety set for "Premium Variety Subscription" respectively) before it is updated/refreshed again (e.g. you played some of them but forgot the others), you CANNOT go back to play the rest once a new week has started - so don't forget!If you were a member of Starlight during the previous run (1.0) and still have the Shop Upgrade or Trading Bonus Shooting Stars, you may exchange them for yellow stars over on the forums! You will be refunded the same amount it cost to purchase it before (5 stars and 7 stars, respectively) which will be added to your site count once approved.
COUPONS
We also have coupons here that can be obtained through various rewards, purchasing them, or freebies and wishes! They are all typically one-time use but have no expiry date, unless it is an event-specific or time-limited coupon - which will always be noted and provided as such.Like Shooting Stars, players can own as many coupons of each type as they want, at any given time! Similarly, you can only use 1 coupon (of the same type) at a time but you may redeem multiple coupons at once within the stated limit per batch (if any). Please also note that if you do NOT redeem multiple copies of a coupon until you reach the maximum limit per batch, how ever many you *do* redeem at once is considered 1 batch, no matter if you maxed out the limit or not!
For example: you could redeem 5 Profile Badge Coupons at once if you had enough coupons for all five requests, but you cannot redeem more than 10 of these coupons because of the limit in place (which, at the time of writing this, is 10 profile badges per batch). Only after your previous batch of requests have been all made, that you can then request another batch of up to 10 profile badges!Below is the full list of currently available coupons that can be obtained, as well as other relevant information for each like how to use them.

 Choice Card Voucher 1 coupon = 1 choice card | Used to redeem for 1 choice card of any deck type, count, etc! There's no limits to how many of these coupons you can redeem at once, nor is there any cards-per-deck limit. | Redeem it using the Choice Card Exchange form in your account! This will automatically save a copy of the exchange(s) in your site logs but you will also need to remove the amount redeemed from your own trade post. |
 Custom Master Badge Coupon 1 coupon = 1 master badge | Used to redeem a custom-made badge for any master of a deck! The deck you redeem this coupon for does not need to be a re-mastery, it can also be your first (and/or only) time mastering it. | Include the coupon when you want to redeem it while posting your badge request(s) in the Custom Master Badges thread.  Idol Agency Artist Slot 1 coupon = 1 additional slot | Used to unlock an additional slot for a new act in our Idol Agency activity! Players are only allowed 2 acts to start so this coupon permanently increases that limit by 1, up until the maximum limit of 5 artist slots total is unlocked. If you disband an act that was using an additional slot, the slot remains open and can be used for a new act! For more details, check the Q&A! | Include the coupon when you are applying for the 3rd/4th/5th act in your personal Idol Agency thread.  Profile Badge Coupon 1 coupon = 1 profile badge | Used to apply for the personalized badge that'll be displayed on your profile on the site! If you have multiple profile badges, you may switch them out on your profile whenever you'd like by changing which one is displayed via the Edit Info page. | Include the coupon when you want to redeem it while posting your badge request(s) in the Profile Badges thread. EVENT COUPONS
First introduced in our Christmas 2019 event, Event Coupons are specifically made for use or given out during an event. They are usually limited and only active/usable during the event period unless otherwise stated, as some coupons have exceptions and can be used even after the event is finished!Event Coupons won't always be red, as they may change colour depending on the event, but they will always be a different colour than blue, since that's reserved for our regular coupons.  Shop Discount 1 coupon = Unlimited uses until expiry | Used to purchase custom graphics and premium items from the Star Shop at 50% off! If the price halved is not a whole number, it's rounded up to the nearest whole number. This coupon was only obtainable during our Christmas 2019 event and expired on December 25th of the same month! | Previously, you would include the coupon when making a purchase on the forums and the price would be adjusted accordingly when your purchase was approved. With the shop now being on the site instead of on the forums, this may change if this coupon returns! |
